The beach was very well cleaned, and it was easy to park. We were able to see many cool things like a pod of dolphins, pelicans feeding, and even found a sea star Full review by Purple M

So pretty!! The beach was great!! Concession stands changing rooms restaurant. Very windy. Corn dogs were a footlong! They were great for a snack!! Full review by Nikalik77

My daughter and I are planning a trip mid-March and wondering whether to stay in the heart of Savannah or at North Tybee. We don’t need to venture into the water, but would love to just hang out on the beach. Is the weather conducive for that? Is there much to do on Tybee island this time of year? Thanks in advance :-)

Hello, Tybee is a perfect place to stay! I highly recommend the Mermaid Cottages. Each one is beautifully decorated. We stayed in North Tybee Beach last year at the end of March and our cottage was a 2 minute walk to the beach. You should definitely check out the lighthouse. I really enjoyed Savannah, but I didn’t like the hustle and bustle of the city. It was nice staying in Tybee because it is a very relaxing, go with the flow place. Hope this helps and you have a great vacation!
