Jason Hines, 38, was arrested after TSA screening found he had a gun in his carry-on bag at Bradley International Airport Monday, Connecticut State Police said.

An Ashford man was arrested at Bradley International Airport on Monday morning after a handgun was discovered in his backpack during TSA screening.

The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. Monday. The handgun allegedly belonged to Jason Hines, 38, who was arrested and charged with circumventing airport security.

Another gun has been confiscated by the TSA at Pittsburgh International Airport. It happened Wednesday morning when a man from Indiana County was found to have a loaded .380 in his carry-on bag.
