The New England Patriots player accused of throwing a woman down a flight of stairs last month will go to trial in 2025.

On Oct. 7, Peppers was charged with assault and battery on an intimate partner, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation and possession of cocaine. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Quincy District Court and was released on $2,500 cash bail.
