North West police have confirmed that 831 suspects who resurfaced from the Stilfontein mine have been arrested and charged with illegal mining.

North-West Community Safety MEC Wessels Morweng told Briefly News a rescue operation was underway at Stilfontein in Klerksdorp to bring up the illegal miners.
