The Veilguard, then called Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, would be heading to Tevinter, it was the only thing I wanted to see. More than taking down Solas or meeting new companions, Tevinter was my main reason to care about whatever Dragon Age 4 would be called.

Every Dragon Age game features a fair amount of character customization, but The Veilguard is the only title in the series that allows players to pick a faction. There are six factions to choose from in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, some of which are entirely new while others have been present in some form or another in previous games.

Bioware makes some tough and controversial choices as it tries to move its fantasy series forward in “Dragon Age: The Veilguard.”
