Sporting star Ousmane Diomande has spoken with Ruben Amorim about joining Manchester United and is growing increasingly keen on a move to Old Trafford. Having joined Sporting from Danish outfit Midtjylland in January 2023, Diomande has quickly earned a reputation as one of the most promising young defenders in Portuguese football.

"Ipswich's win at Tottenham will give them real belief and they have had three draws already at home, so they will be competitive, especially if United are adapting to a new system - a lot of their players are coming back from international duty and haven't had time to work with Amorim.
