Elon Musk, an original co-founder of OpenAI, attempted to steer the organization away from becoming too cozy with Microsoft when it was negotiating an early cloud computing deal with the Redmond company.

Elon Musk has stepped up his ongoing feud with ChatGPT-maker OpenAI with a revived lawsuit against the firm, adding Microsoft as a defendant. Mr Musk, a co-founder of the artificial intelligence (AI) company, accused it and the tech giant of operating a monopoly in an amended legal complaint on Thursday.

The updated complaint accuses OpenAI and Microsoft’s partnership of ‘actively trying to eliminate competitors.’

After joining with Mr. Musk to create OpenAI in 2015 and pledging to carefully develop artificial intelligence for the benefit of humanity, the suit claimed, Mr. Altman and Mr. Brockman abandoned this mission by entering its multibillion-dollar partnership with Microsoft.
