After what seemed like an eternity, VW has finally revealed a new Tiguan for the North American market. It has new styling and a new engine but it’ll come with one less row this time around.

German carmaker Volkswagen unveiled the new generation Tiguan, upgrades target everything from design to comfort and powertrain.

Volkswagen's MQB platform is its most versatile tool and one that paid dividends for the German brand, as exampled by the 18 global nameplates under its wing. Now, as Volkswagen launches its redesigned Tiguan for the 2025 model year, the brand is giving new life to the platform.
