After Rhodes retained his Undisputed WWE championship in a steel cage match against Solo Sokia last week, he was attacked by The Bloodline. Unlikely allies, Reigns came out to make the save. His return in recent weeks has been to dispute Sokia's claim as The Tribal Chief.

SmackDown's return means that USA Network, the on-and-off home of Raw dating back to its 1993 premiere, will stay in the professional wrestling game. WWE signed a deal this past January to take Raw to the streaming service Netflix in January 2025.
