An E. coli outbreak linked to bagged organic carrots has prompted an expanded recall as the number of cases grows. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that 39 people across 18 states have been sickened.

A multi-state E. coli outbreak has been linked to recalled organic whole carrots and baby carrots sold under several brands like Trader Joe’s, 365 and more.
