Conor McGregor has lost his sexual assault civil case in Dublin. A High Court jury awarded damages of €248,603.60 ($259,149.36) to Nikita Hand against McGregor on Friday after ruling that she was sexually assaulted by the former UFC champion in a Dublin hotel in December 2018.

Detective Garda James Codd gathered CCTV evidence in the Beacon Hotel and from a shop nearby. He also took photos of the rooms in the penthouse of the hotel. The Judge tells jury: "When looking at the evidence it's important to keep both feet permanently on the ground, not entiled to speculate but entitled to use your common sense".
