The New Orleans Fire Department was on the scene of a 3-alarm fire in the French Quarter Tuesday morning, Nov. 19.

Despite the threat of street flooding and heavy rain moving into the area, the New Orleans Fire Department was on the scene battling a 3-alarm fire in the French Quarter. The fire broke out at a building at the intersection of Bourbon and Orleans Street early Tuesday morning.

New Orleans firefighters are responding to a possible fire in the French Quarter early Tuesday (Nov. 19) morning. Smoke was reported around 3 a.m. near the cross streets of Bourbon and Orleans. Staff members at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel say they saw smoke coming from the roof of the Local 718 bar and restaurant across the street around 2:30 a.
