Five AAP MLAs were sworn in as ministers in the Punjab cabinet on Monday, with the oath administered by Governor Gulab Chand Kataria.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has inducted five new faces into his cabinet on Monday (23 September) including Mohinder Bhagat, who won Jalandhar West seat in the July assembly by-poll.

Along with the removal of his OSD, CM Bhagwant Mann has also planning to undertake a major reshuffle of his Cabinet this evening

The Mann government has already written to the Raj Bhawan urging Governor Gulab Chand Kataria to administer the oath of office to the five new inductees.

CHANDIGARH: The Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government on Monday inducted five MLAs as ministers as it carried out a Cabinet rejig. Governor Gulab Chand Kataria administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers during a swearing-in ceremony at the Raj Bhavan here.
