Police say Josiah Kelly, 30, confessed to shooting at a clinic for people recovering from addiction and substance use disorder.

A second shooting event was reported late Monday at the Kachemak Bay Family Planning Clinic. No one was injured.

Police in Homer are investigating after someone shot into a building belonging to a local reproductive health care clinic. The Kachemak Bay Family Planning Clinic said in a social media post and in an email sent to supporters that "several rounds of ammunition" were fired into the front of its administrative and education building at about 5:45 a.

Kelly is also charged in the October shooting of a building housing Kachemak Bay Recovery Connection. According to an affidavit filed with the court, Monday morning around 6 a.m. Homer Police received numerous 911 calls related to the sounds of six gunshots in the Ben Walters area.
