Nvidia's Blackwell chips drive record revenue as the company surpasses Microsoft and Apple, poised for future growth in AI technology.

Although the Blackwell GPU provides increased performance, allegedly 2.5 times more efficient than the previous Nvidia H100 chip, constant issues with overheating cast a shadow over its otherwise bright perspective.

Speaking to DCD earlier this year, Ian Buck, Nvidia’s accelerated computing VP, said: "The fabric of NVLink, the spine, is connecting all those 72 GPUs to deliver an overall performance of 720 petaflops of training, 1.4 exaflops of inference."

Analysis report that Nvidia's Blackwell overheating problems are over-exaggerated. Overheating issues have been purportedly largely addressed already.
