An 61-year-old woman was killed during the crash when a speeding, stolen Jeep carrying guns that was being pursued by police broadsided her car about 7 p.m. in the 6000 block of South State Street, Chicago police said.

One person was killed and 13 others were injured in a high-speed crash involving two cars and a CTA bus on Wednesday night.

Four people were taken to area hospitals in serious-to-critical condition, and one of those four was described as "very critical" by the Fire Department.

The Fire Department showed photos of a white Jeep Cherokee that was completely demolished in the front, and another car that was totaled beyond recognition.

CTA officials received a disturbance call just before 9:40 a.m. on board a bus near the entrance to the Red Line station along the Dan Ryan Expressway.

One person was very critically injured and 13 others also had injuries from a crash involving a CTA bus and two other vehicles Wednesday evening on the city's South Side, fire officials said.

Fourteen people were injured, including four seriously, after a CTA bus collided with two other vehicles in Chicago's Washington Park neighborhood, according to fire officials.
