Banks starred in three episodes of Gossip Girl during its third season as Jenny Humphrey's friend, Sawyer Bennett. She also appeared in the Joel Schumacher-directed film Twelve, which also starred Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson, Rory Culkin and Emma Roberts.

Chanel Maya Banks, a 36-year-old actress known for her roles in fan-favorite dramas such as Gossip Girl and Blue Bloods, has reportedly gone missing. As such, her family members are actively conducting an extensive search hunt with help from the LAPD.

LOS ANGELES -- A Los Angeles actress who has appeared in shows such as "Blue Bloods" and "Gossip Girl" has gone missing and her family has flown in from out of state to help in the desperate search. Family members say 36-year-old Chanel Maya Banks, who has been living in the Playa Vista area, has not been heard from since Oct. 30.
